Very Simple Little Song

Home / Music / Very Simple Little Song

I thought I’d just sit down and make up some synth-ey tuneage yesterday. I set up two extremely simple sequencer lines, just two notes alternating opposite each other, and I changed the melody, such as it is, by twisting a couple note selector knobs. Then I turned up the delay on the reverb and the notes began to kind of collide and reinforce each other. Anyway, here’s a video of me cranking it out, and you can see my complete lack of technique.

Beatstep Pro
Braids MacroOscillator
Morphing Terrarium
Z5000 Reverb
Qunexus Keyboard
E440 VCF
Koma Kommander to modulate filter and phase shifter
ARP2600 Spring reverb
plus a bunch of ADSRs and VCAs
